Connect Energy is looking for the QA/QC Manager to work in Brunei for a minimum of 2 years or longer.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the quality management system is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner.
This role involves close working with engineering, construction, fabrication, procurement teams, as well as subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure that projects raw materials, in-process products and finished products conform to technical specifications, quality standards and comply with relevant regulations, licences and certifications
Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specifications, and QMS requirements
Manage subcontractors works for the project
Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
Managing the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities
Develop procedures and standards on vendor assessment and inspection activities
Effective implementation and coordination of vendor assessment and inspection activities
Consolidate all feedback to vendors/agents and provide technical guidance to rectify any quality related issue.
Oversees training aspect relating to QMS
Managing construction program with a reporting system and following up on recommendations
Oversee supervision of all visual inspections and NDE, including 3rd party alterations
Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies
Manage construction processes, plant equipment, inspection and NDE personnel certification and QMS internal audits
Perform Quality audit that address ISO9001 requirements including covering technical requirements of the engineering, procurement and construction aspect of project delivery.
Ensure Contract Quality Plan has been developed to address requirement of DEP, ISO9001:2015, ISO/TS29001 and BSP-12-P-010 requirements with regards to the Contract Scope of Work.
Be the key approver for Contractor and Subcontractors' QMS documents
Requirements
Degree in Engineering
IRCA Registered Lead Auditor
Min. 10 years in QA/QC position with 5 years as Senior Engineer or Manager position
Comprehensive knowledge of inspection techniques
Thorough understanding of the principles and practice of Quality Management systems in Construction projects
