Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level QA Engineer to join our software development team in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh diploma or degree graduates who are passionate about software quality and eager to grow in a fast-paced tech environment.

In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications through systematic testing and issue identification. You will work closely with developers and project managers to detect and resolve defects, contributing to the overall stability and performance of our products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and preparing test cases and scenarios based on project requirements.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects or bugs in software applications.
• Report and track bugs found during testing and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Conduct functional, integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements for better software quality.
• Maintain test plans, test reports, and related documentation.
• Provide feedback to project managers and stakeholders on software quality and testing progress.
• Stay updated on industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software testing (e.g., functional testing, regression testing, UAT).
• Some exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber) is a plus.
• Ability to identify, document, and track software bugs effectively.
• Exposure to Agile development processes (from school projects or internships is a plus).
• Some experience or familiarity with programming (e.g., JavaScript, Java, or Golang) is a bonus but not required.
• Understanding of databases and how to perform basic testing is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
