Job Description

► Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm

► Basic up to $8000 + VB

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supply chain associates.
• Constantly look for alternative sources and strive for cost reductions.
• Establish good supply chain management by maintaining a good relationship with vendors and ensuring that vendors meet the Company’s objectives.
• Maintain a desired inventory level through vendor management.
• Ensure RFQs for new business opportunities are completed within the Company’s desired timeframe.
• Review high value and/or critical items and work with vendors to reduce cost without affecting quality.
• Ensure all POs are issued to vendors on time.
• Ensure vendors complete POs on time while maintaining a desirable inventory level.
• Review with vendors on parts quality issues and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are taken by vendors.
• Ensure store has sufficient stocks to cover Sales Orders.
• Ensure documents issued to vendors are accurate and complete.
• Conduct constant and close follow-up on parts required for Sales Orders completion.
• Review slow-moving or not-moving items in store and work with vendors to clear potential obsolete components.
• Generate reports for Management Review.
• Ensure vendors’ invoices are accurate and complete for Finance to process payment.

Job Requirements

• Degree in any Business or Engineering field with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of supply chain management in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Forward planning and organizing skills.
• Able to multi-task and stay committed to the job.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good leadership skills and a team player.
