Purchasing Cum Logistic Officer

Contract Sterilization Services Pte Ltd, wholly owned subsidiary of Serial System Ltd (a SGX mainboard listed Company), assembles and distributes medical devices. It offers a full range of standard and customised perfusion tubing packs. Marketed all over the Asia Pacific region, these products are the preferred choices of many leading hospitals.

We invite a suitably qualified candidate to fill the following position:

Purchasing Cum Logistic Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Purchasing activities: Generate Purchase Order to Suppliers & Coordinate Delivery arrival
2. Sourcing Activities including research of the potential vendors
3. Order tracking to ensure on time delivery
4. Monitor Stock levels daily and place orders as needed
5. Update and maintain Records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
6. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and inventory control
7. Logistics activities: Sales & Invoices Documentation, Import & Export processing/documentation
8. L/C Negotiation & CO application
9. Liaise with customers/forwarders on shipping arrangements
10. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. GCE ‘O” level or equivalent
2. 1 - 2 years relevant working experience in purchasing & sourcing
3. Able to work independently and interact well with Suppliers/Customers/Logistics companies
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Power Point
5. UBS System knowledge is an added advantage
6. Negotiation skills
7. Meticulous and possess good communication skills and a positive work attitude
8. Preferably able to start work within short notice
