Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, evaluation, contracting, and vendor management.
  2. Liaise with the China office for rate negotiation, bidding, and invoicing.
  3. Identify potential new suppliers, conduct due diligence, and manage supplier onboarding processes.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  5. Conduct regular analysis of procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and process improvements.
  6. Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  7. Support initiatives and efforts to manage supplier relationships, including administrative and operational activities and issues.
  8. Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement industry best practices, leveraging data to drive best practices across the account.
  9. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive pricing and value for money.
  10. Maintain vendor contracts, review them, negotiate rates, etc.
  11. Coordinate and manage payments to vendors, adhering to financial protocols and ensuring timely disbursement.
  12. Oversee the logistics for loading and unloading materials, ensuring all goods meet quality standards and are processed on time.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/business administration or a related discipline.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement. Experience in furniture procurement, real estate, and the hospitality industry is advantageous.
  3. Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives.
  4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  5. Well-versed in creating and using Excel spreadsheets with complex formulas.
  6. Proven record of working independently; a self-starter.
  7. High levels of flexibility and adaptability.
  8. Strong team player skills.
  9. Act with utmost integrity.
  10. Read and write Chinese.
