Public Area Attendant

The Public Area Attendant cleans, maintains, and supplies all assigned areas in accordance with the standards, guidelines, and policies established by the hotel.

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Complete knowledge of hotel standard operating policies and procedures.
• Maintain and enforce all quality service standards and procedures for Housekeeping Services.
• Act as restroom attendant when required, especially during VIP functions.
• Maintain and clean all public areas, heart of the house areas, and other assigned work areas as per standard operating procedures.
• Handle housekeeping cleaning equipment with care as per standard operating procedures.
• Report malfunctioning equipment, damage to public area furniture, fixtures, carpets, and any other hotel properties, and defects for maintenance to the Senior Public Area Attendant.
• Maintain par stock on all supplies and parts.
• Check and maintain that all hygiene rules and regulations are strictly adhered to.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
