About the job
Your main responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze the monthly project performance tracking (ACT vs. approved budgets) for the renewable projects and coordinate project-related payments as well as tracking of funding needs.
- Ensure correct maintenance of the Group’s IT controlling system (e.g. AIFExpert) that supports the analytical information in relation to funding needs of the projects.
- Keep close track and comprehension of the performance for the renewable assets, providing feedback on the deviations with regards to budgeted figures.
- Coordination with the different departments to explain the deviations from the business plan or forecast and milestone plans.
- Support Head of Controlling with preparing the strategic business plan, budget and forecasts based on the above-mentioned project tracking activities and analysis.
- Identify unusual trends and entries within the analytical accounting, then plan actions and execute solutions.
- Any other ad hoc tasks and related duties as assigned, such as financial analysis of potential EPC or O&M providers, support of reporting towards financing banks.
- Introduction of proper tracking tools for the above-stated.
- Project: Work in tandem with the Monday.com project team to support project implementation.
Your qualifications and experience
- Degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Finance or Economics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial controlling and reporting.
- Strong technical financial background and experience in reporting or planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High capacity to adapt to changes and new processes taking ownership of them with a proactive approach.
- Being able to manage workloads, prioritize tasks and work through strict deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to partner with business and corporate functional colleagues, external stakeholders, and staff.
- Confident handling of MS Office.
