Prepare proposal and budget estimates for new contracts/tenders.
Assist in the Variation Orders (VO) for ongoing projects.
Develop, review, and monitor the compliance of the tender and contracts policies and guidelines, in line with the industry's best practices.
Liaise and negotiate with clients, vendors, contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants on project requirements.
Work closely with the QS/Tender team in preparation of tender submissions.
Work closely with the project teams in VO verification.
Have a great eye for detail in evaluating quotations, assessing variation orders (VO), escalations, abortive work, measuring quantities/taking off, and accounts finalization.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering, preferably majoring in MEP trade or Mechanical.
Strong interpersonal skills with prior cost estimation experience in an M&E construction environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze issues and creatively identify solutions.
High level of initiative, independent, proactive, and meticulous.
Able to work under tight deadlines.
Willingness to work at Tuas, where there is transportation pick-up at designated MRT.
Willingness to work beyond official hours to meet tender tight timelines.
At least 8 years of working experience in the related field.
