Project Officer (Computer Science/Software Engineering/Network Security Engineering)

The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design a secure protocol to link the blockchain and the physical world by attaching a smart tag with the physical component.
2. Propose a novel and elegant consensus protocol based on verifiable random functions.
3. Write a research paper to report the fundamental theoretical advances on blockchain scalability and security.
4. Implement proof-of-concept prototypes for our designed blockchain-based system and conduct extensive experiments to evaluate its scalability and security.
5. Write a research paper to report the design and implementation of our novel blockchain-based system for tracking supply chains.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Security Engineering or related areas.
2. Good communication and coordination skills.
3. Positive working attitude and a good team player.
4. Strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
