Our client is a significant player in providing completed integrated telecoms for the offshore/onshore oil and gas industries. As a recognised Telecommunication System Integrator in the oil and gas global market, they provide turnkey project systems that cover a full spectrum of services from the areas of engineering design, project management, supply, integration, installation, testing, commission, and maintenance.

Job Overview:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production, assembly, installation, and commissioning of equipment. You will manage the entire project lifecycle from the design phase through execution, ensuring successful project closure and handover. You will work closely with internal stakeholders on the routine projects, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with quality procedures and regulations.

Salary: $4500 - $6000

Job Description:

1. Oversee the full project lifecycle, from design to closure, including pre-delivery checks, testing, and handover.
2. Attend project kickoff meetings to define scope, schedules, and deliverables.
3. Coordinate and review project drawings, documents, change orders, and amendments.
4. Ensure engineers and technicians meet project timelines.
5. Manage project schedules, liaise with subcontractors, and gather supplier information.
6. Supervise pre-delivery testing, on-site installation, termination, and commissioning.
7. Ensure technical plans comply with codes and regulations through regular reviews.
8. Report project performance and status to management.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanic, Marine & Offshore) or possesses technical knowledge about Maritime communication systems.
2. Proven experience in project management, preferably in energy and offshore sector or marine navigation systems.
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
5. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
6. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) will be an added advantage.
