Job description
Responsibilities:
To lead a team of engineers for project delivery according to project requirements.
To manage the project scope, schedule, risks, and cost of the assigned project(s).
To support business development as and when required.
To support in business activities and/or ad-hoc projects when required.
To provide software support and maintenance to operational/production systems.
To lead the team in software modification/enhancement to the system.
To lead the team in preventive maintenance and corrective actions promptly and effectively.
To prepare project documentation, progress reports, and technical/engineering studies.
To engage and manage vendor support to diagnose and rectify technical issues.
To manage external vendors and contractors for repairs and purchases.
To lead the team in new setup or upgrade of IT infrastructure.
Knowledge of system administration for Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
Knowledge of network administration for Cisco switches.
Knowledge of Cyber or IT Security implementation.
Requirements:
Candidates with PMP preferred.
ITIL, CCNA, or Certification in Cyber Security or Information Technology Security field has an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
Pro-active, dynamic, and with good analytical/conceptual thinking.
Able to work independently as well as in a team, with good interpersonal and presentation skills.
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (SCRUM will be an added advantage).
Good knowledge and experience in computer/server hardware and network diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Experience in Programming Skills such as C/C++ (C# will be an added advantage).
Experience in Windows Server OS, Unix/Linux OS & Virtualisation environment.
Experience with web servers and application servers.
Experience in system administration for Windows, Unix/Linux, and database administration for Oracle.
