Project Manager, Project Leadership

Overview

The Project Manager leads small-scale IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to standards. Responsibilities include project planning, risk management, testing, implementation, and stakeholder communication. They oversee schedules, budgets, and team coordination while building strong relationships with users and technical teams. The role requires IT experience, SDLC knowledge, leadership, and strong communication skills.

What will you do?

Project Delivery

• Execute project tasks, ensuring schedules, quality, and budget adherence.
• Develop project plans, risk management strategies, and milestones.
• Prepare project documentation following standards and procedures.
• Conduct program code reviews and walkthroughs.
• Plan and execute system integration, user acceptance testing, installation, and implementation.
• Manage conversion and data migration activities.
• Oversee daily project implementation regarding schedules, manpower, budget, and quality.
• Provide regular project status reports.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain relationships with users and technical teams.
• Ensure clear and open communication with customers on project issues or clarifications.

Team Management

• Organize and lead project meetings, keeping teams informed on progress and tasks.
• Guide and mentor team members/developers.
• Plan and track assigned tasks for team members.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• At least 6 years of IT experience, including 2 years as a Team Lead
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in IT business analysis techniques
• Excellent project planning, risk management, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
• Willingness to travel as required
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
