Oversee the design, synthesis, and characterization of advanced polymers with debonding on demand functionality.
Manage the Lead Technology Developer (DoD Materials) and Scientist (Processing Technologies), ensuring high-quality research and development.
Apply project management skills to prioritize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and track project progress.
Drive innovation in DoD materials by coordinating interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with external R&D partners.
Maintain a strong focus on materials science, ensuring that all projects meet technical and commercial requirements.
Contribute to the development of intellectual property (IP) through literature and patent searches, collaborating with legal teams where necessary.
Foster open innovation opportunities through external partnerships, strengthening collaborative efforts in materials science and polymer chemistry.
Report project progress to senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
Develop and implement project management best practices, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, risk management, and budget control.
Requirements:
Strong background in Project Management with a solid understanding of material science, particularly in polymer chemistry and processing technologies.
Preferably with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the adhesive-related industry.
