Project Manager - IT - (Digital Platform)

Position Overview

Our Digital platform team is hiring an IT project manager to manage the telehealth project.

The potential candidate will be:

1. Responsible for driving the successful delivery of one large project or multiple small projects within a business domain or cross-functional projects.
2. Ensures the project is well planned, on-track, resolves issues across different functions immediately, and mitigates any potential risks early to avoid project failure.
3. Leads cross-functional teams, works in collaboration, and coordinates with business users, internal and external teams, and vendors to ensure the project is successfully completed within budget & scope, on time and with quality.
4. Provides regular progress updates to key stakeholders and management, and escalates issues for resolution in a timely manner.
5. Participates in annual work planning and manages the estimation of budget for new demands.

Role & Responsibilities

Set project management framework

1. Provide inputs and support to develop the project management framework, templates, tools, and systems to deliver cost, time, and quality metrics.
2. Design training to enable effective application of project management framework across the organisation.
3. Support the Snr Project Manager in governance of project management framework through audits.
4. Guide the team in adoption of the set framework at the appropriate level.

Develop project plan

1. Develop the integrated project plan including detailed activities, resource planning, and cost estimation per project.
2. Work with stakeholders to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
3. Review project plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing projects.
4. Procure project requirements such as workforce, required information, various agreements, and material or technology needed.
5. Guide the team to deliver plans aligned to overall project objectives.
6. Set expectations for periodic and milestone reviews including status reports, project risk identification, and other dashboards.

Implement project

1. Drive project to meet schedules, budget, manpower, and technical quality targets.
2. Drive project discipline to document scope changes, issues, and risks that affect implementation.
3. Work with users, technical staff, and management to determine and resolve issues associated with project implementation.
4. Conduct regular project reviews to recommend schedule changes, cost, or resource adjustments.

Requirements

1. Possess a Degree or higher tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
2. More than 10 years of relevant working experience and demonstrate an applied knowledge of IT Project Management.
3. Relevant project management certifications such as PMP is preferred.
4. Strong communication skills – articulate in both written and spoken language.
5. Excellent internal/external stakeholder engagement skills.
6. Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. Strong project resource planning skill is preferred.
7. Experience in healthcare industry is an added advantage.
