Job description
What you will do:
Performs standard project engineering assignments usually representing a significant portion of a larger project.
How you will do it:
Project Management:
Lead the execution of projects and services for the marine business, ensuring completion according to quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Oversee project timelines, budgets, resources, and documentation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless and successful project delivery.
Proactively address technical challenges or delays, developing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with the approved project program and methodology.
Maintain detailed records of project progress, tasks, and health, regularly updating supervisors on status
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and project success.
Assist in project financial forecasting and resource planning to ensure that both technical and business objectives are met.
Ensure that contracts, project scope, and costs align with business goals and company financial targets.
Ensure all projects are executed according to the project schedule and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) guidelines.
Client Engagement and Technical Sales Support:
Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical input during client meetings, proposals, and bids, ensuring solutions are optimized to meet client needs and industry requirement.
Assist in the development of technical proposals, tenders, and quotations, ensuring they accurately reflect system specifications, project timelines, and cost estimates.
Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, highlighting the value proposition of the Global Marine and Offshore Services solutions tailored to specific project requirement
Assist in identifying new business opportunities through strong technical understanding of HVAC&R systems and support the sales team by offering technical solutions to prospective clients.
Support the Branch in identifying and pursuing variation order opportunities.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing technical queries and ensuring HVAC&R solutions meet both client expectations and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for increasing profitability and market share within the marine sector.

Strong ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
Ability to identify and pursue business expansions opportunities, contributing to sales growth and market share expansion.
Demonstrates initiative in seeking out ways to enhance client satisfaction and support the sales team in closing deals.
Skilled in providing technical support during sales processes, ensuring optimal solutions are proposed to meet client needs.
Solid understanding of HVAC&R systems, as well as technical documentation and proposal development
Understanding of business objectives and financial targets, ensuring that projects meet both technical and commercial goals
Strong willingness to acquire new technical skills, particularly in fire protection systems, to enhance the company’s service offerings and meet evolving industry needs.
Actively engage in training and development to build proficiency in fire protection alongside existing technical domains.
What we look for:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC&R Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on HVAC&R systems within the marine industry.
Proven experience working with HVAC&R systems, preferably in the marine sector, with a solid understanding of related technical standards, systems, and industry best practices.
Past experience in sales, business development, or commercial activities within the marine or HVAC&R industry.
Excellent understanding of budgeting, cost management, and contract negotiations.
