Project Manager (Electrical)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with expertise in electrical engineering to manage and oversee infrastructure-related projects. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely, on-budget, and quality delivery. Your focus will be on electrical systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Lead and manage the electrical aspects of infrastructure projects, from initial planning to final delivery.
• Client Management: Act as the main point of contact between the client and the project team for all electrical-related matters.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, including electrical materials, labor, and equipment, ensuring projects stay within financial parameters.
• Risk Management: Identify project risks early, develop mitigation plans, and lead risk management efforts to ensure the project stays on track.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate the project team to ensure high performance. Manage subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to quality standards, schedules, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, specifically on electrical systems for infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning for infrastructure projects
• Knowledge in electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety regulations.
