Responsible for the successful project management, implementation and handover within specified schedule, budget and meeting client’s expectation, relevant regulatory and safety requirements.
Oversee construction projects and project teams to ensure on-time project delivery according to the planned schedule and within the resources allocated.
Liaise with clients, consultants, main-contractors and relevant authorities on design, work progress, quality, safety and schedules.
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed.
Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
Attend site meetings, inspecting, monitoring and reporting of project progress.
Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites.
Analyse the actual performance against the project target.
Review and redesign work flows and processes if necessary to mitigate safety risks.
Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Operations Director.
Job Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering field or equivalent with construction safety course certificates i.e. BCSS, Construction Safety Course for Project Manager, Risk Management, etc.
Minimum of 5 years experience in managing construction teams for projects in Singapore.
Well versed with construction materials, local codes and regulations.
Proficient at AutoCAD and MS Office.
Extensive work experience managing budgets for construction projects.
Strong organizational, time management and verbal and written communication skills.
Dynamic and result-oriented individual with a proven record in the Singapore building industry.
