Job description

The Project Manager (PM) supports the overall operations of the Programme while reporting directly to the Director, ensuring that the Programme functions effectively and efficiently. The key role of the PM is to oversee and support all administrative, operations, financial, and essential functions of the Programme.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversees and provides administrative support to all levels of staff necessary to meet the programme Key Performance Indicators.
  2. Coordinates and supports the Programme to meet recruitment requirements.
  3. Ensures proper documentation and record-keeping of relevant policies/service agreements, procedures, and processes to support the implementation of operations for the smooth running of the Programme.
  4. Works closely with the Funding Organization and Finance Department in administering approved funding/budgets and financial reporting, including planning, managing, monitoring, and updating the Director/Senior Management on a quarterly basis or as required.
  5. Equipped with an understanding of the Programme operations to provide secretarial and administrative support for internal meetings (e.g., Senior and Management Meetings) as well as meetings with external parties.
  6. Serves as a primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, external institutions, and community agencies.
  7. Responsible for the recruitment and orientation of all newly recruited staff to ensure effective running of the Programme.
  8. Leads and supports the implementation of all operational processes and projects for the Programme.
  9. Oversees the Programme’s adherence to prevailing hospital quality standards (e.g., ISO, BFHI) and the Funding Organization’s programme objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or research management.
  2. Resourceful, innovative with good problem-solving skills.
  3. A team player and yet able to work independently.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Strong analytical, organizing, and prioritizing skills.
  6. Strong coordinating and facilitation skills.
  7. Strong skills in financial management and planning.
  8. Strong computer skills in spreadsheets, databases, and word processing (e.g., Microsoft Office Excel, Word).
