Job description

As a Project Manager, you will function as the project lead and be responsible for efficiently managing and executing projects within approved parameters like cost, timelines, functionality, and quality.

Job Duties:

  • Lead, manage and deliver local and overseas projects from start to completion, meeting quality, time, and cost expectations.
  • Ensure that the projects meet the highest quality and standards expected.
  • Able to collaborate with all stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Lead and manage interdisciplinary project teams, including architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to drive delivery that meets expectations.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge and experience in project management processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and manage project scope/ brief, schedule, budget, change requests, and conflicts and constantly seek cost management / savings improvements.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor project deliverables including safety and risk management, and ensure effective management of consultants, contractors, and suppliers to fulfil all contractual obligations.
  • Monitor construction works on site, safety, progress and progress and quality, and also manage post-construction DLP.
  • Able to track and report on project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and recommend remedial actions to keep the project on track.
  • Prepare monthly project and cost status reports for review by HOD.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, real estate, or a related field
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in project management with a reputable organization.
  • Previous experience working on the construction and delivery of hospitality projects overseas will be a plus.
  • Able to travel for overseas projects on a regular basis.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Willing to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with local building codes, zoning requirements, and permit application processes.
  • Good understanding of real estate development practices and industry standards.
  • Portray a professional image, while displaying a high level of integrity and professionalism when representing the company to all project related parties
