This position reports to

Offshore Solutions Business Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the oversight of team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, especially in smaller units. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
2. Providing leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.
3. Supporting local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
4. Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
• You are highly skilled in handling project management team and ability to engage and motivate people from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Ability to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in other functions like engineering, supply chain management along with strong project management skills.
• Experience in handling complex electrification & automation projects within Oil & Gas, Offshore and/or FPSO segments.
• You are passionate about delivering high level of customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communications and collaboration skills.
