Project Management Officer

JOB Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PMO professional with a strong background in payments to support and drive project governance, execution, and strategic initiatives within our organization.

Mandatory Skill-set

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or a related field;
2. 2+ years of experience in a PMO role, preferably within the payments or fintech industry;
3. Strong understanding of payments systems, transaction processing, and industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, PSD2, SWIFT, RTP);
4. Proven experience in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement;
5. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills;

Desired Skill-set

1. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications;
2. Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana, etc.);

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage payments-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget;
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, compliance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution;
3. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies;
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function to optimize project delivery;
5. Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards in the payments domain;
6. Provide senior management with strategic insights and recommendations for improving payments operations and efficiencies;
7. Maintain and manage project documentation, status reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs);
8. Support resource allocation and financial tracking for payments-related initiatives.
