Assist PM for the execution of contracts progress.
Preparation, checking and submission of shop drawings, catalogues, and calculations.
Prepare project schedules and forecasts.
Work out bill of materials and engineering deliverables.
Co-ordinate with clients, consultations, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of work schedule.
Co-ordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and own teams for implementation of the projects and ensuring it is being built correctly.
Monitor and carry out quality checks on progressively completed work and make recommendations for effective project management.
Assist PM for project controls, budgeting, and planning.
Assist PM regarding design and project execution of one or more simultaneous projects in accordance with project general specifications, particular specifications, technical specifications, and drawings.
Develop method statements and testing procedures for the works.
Develop project status/progress reports.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Attend progress/technical meetings.
Write reports and documentation.
Ensure effective communication between engineering, technical, construction, and project control groups.
Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design, equipment specifications, and safety standards.
Assist PM on all other project administrative matters.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the local construction industry.
Preferred to have A&A relevant project experience.
Preferred to have precast design experience.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to start work immediately/within a short notice period is preferred.
Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight project schedules.
Good interpersonal skills and a positive working attitude.
