Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer

Job Description:

Our client is a leading company in Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing etc, they are well-established in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for complex projects. Right now, they are seeking a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to support the execution of critical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

1. Assist in the development of project scope, schedules, and budgets.
2. Oversee engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
3. Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met according to plans.

Technical Coordination & Engineering Support:

1. Provide engineering expertise and support in project development and implementation.
2. Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
3. Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and design documents.

Risk Management & Compliance:

1. Identify and mitigate project risks related to cost, safety, and performance.
2. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
3. Conduct safety assessments and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Stakeholder & Contractor Management:

1. Liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
2. Participate in project meetings, providing status updates and resolving technical issues.
3. Manage documentation, reporting, and communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
2. At least 3+ years (Project Engineer) / 7+ years (Senior Project Engineer) of experience in project management and engineering.
3. Experience in [relevant industry: Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing, etc.].
4. Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software (AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
5. Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Professional Engineer (PE) certification or PMP certification is a plus.
