Project Engineer (PCB)

* Office hours, Monday - Friday 8.30pm - 6pm
* Location: Toa Payoh
* Permanent

Our client is a well-established entity in the manufacturing and distribution of parts and components for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).

Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to the Project Manager, provide project management by liaising with the internal team and customer on new project requirements and perform project execution.
2. Perform leadership & ownership to coordinate & execute projects. Ensure projects are completed and delivered on scope, on schedule & on quality.
3. Manage project schedules, planning, material requisition, cost monitoring, and documentation submission & control.
4. Coordinate with the internal design team & external customers on project document & drawing submissions, amendments, re-submissions & approvals.
5. Update & backup project documentation, drawings, reports & procedures (SOP, WI, Lesson Learned, etc.).
6. Participate in project progress meetings and update weekly status, submitting weekly reports to the PM.
7. Work closely with internal teams (production, logistics, QA, etc.) on project schedules and deliveries.
8. Coordinate with principals and customers to support technical matters of products manufactured in the factory.
9. Able to create documents like Process Flow, Control Plan, FMEA, WI, APQP, and PPAP.

Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical discipline.
2. 3-5 years' project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Experience in project management & leading cross-functional teams.
4. Able to multitask on multiple projects & demonstrate good time management skills.
5. Good leadership, teamwork, and ability to work with different levels of the organization.
6. Continuous improvement mindset and flexible approach to problem-solving.
7. Knowledge of PCBA/FPCA, process, project management, or related fields preferred.
8. Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, familiar with FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and IOPQ.
9. Sound knowledge in SPC, FMEA, DFM, DOE.
10. Willing to travel overseas.
