Project Engineer (constructions) (Up to $4800 / Kaki Bukit)

Job Title: Project Engineer (constructions) (ID4461)
Location: Kaki Bukit
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.00am-5.00pm, Sat 8.00am-12.00pm
Salary: $3500-$4800

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible and in-charge of the individual project;
2. Ensures QEHS control of works as per the drawings and specifications, method statements, Works Quality Plan requirements and In-House EHS Rules & Regulations for the block(s) or area(s) he or she is assigned to;
3. Responsible for accompanying the RTO / RE / Consultants during inspection, and ensuring compliance against client and CONQUAS requirements;
4. Oversees the concrete cube-taking process for the compressive strength tests, and ensures proper compaction and concrete curing conditions for compliance with the specified compressive strength requirements;
5. Monitors concrete cube test results and maintains such laboratory test reports in file;
6. Responsible for processing and upkeep of timely inspection records, as applicable;
7. Responsible for the periodical summary of COW / RE inspection failures of block(s) / area(s) and subsequent submission to the PM on site for analysis;
8. Responsible for reporting on accomplished schedules to the Project Manager;
9. Responsible for the control and coordination of foremen and leaders;
10. Responsible for QEHS corrective and preventive actions as requested by the Project Manager, WSH Officer;
11. Properly trained in QEHS Policy, Objectives, impact/risk assessment, relevant safe work procedure/ operational control procedure, management programme, applicable legal and other requirements.

1. Diploma in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent;
2. Min 3-4 years Project Engineer on Construction company experience;
3. Good interpersonal skill;
4. Strong troubleshooting skill and analytical mind;
5. Self-motivated and team player.
