Adecco is collaborating with a leading government agency responsible for planning, developing, and managing the nation's rail and road infrastructure, enhancing public transport systems, overseeing major expansions, and implementing smart mobility solutions for a seamless, efficient, and sustainable transportation network.
They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing team. An ideal candidate has expertise in MRT/metro construction, deep excavation, and tunnel boring (EPB/slurry TBM). The Job
- Lead and manage contractors in civil construction for new MRT lines and infrastructure enhancements.
- Oversee deep excavation, tunnel boring, and elevated or underground station construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Identify and manage project risks, cash flow, and contract variations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical challenges and project interfaces.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of works.
- Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues.
The Talent
- Degree in Civil Engineering with strong knowledge of local codes and rail construction standards.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MRT/metro railway projects or deep excavation/tunneling.
- Strong understanding of civil and trackwork interface requirements.
- Proven project management and leadership skills with a track record in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with an analytical and results-driven mindset.
- Keen to relocate to Singapore.
