KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day to day project activities including scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting updates of projects.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable scope of work, codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Be the primary focal point between various parties.
• Prepare reports, minutes of meetings, and manage correspondence with all parties.
• Able to contribute to Project Management / Engineering & Site Construction activities.
• Conduct technical reviews on design concepts, engineering, and operational matters on the project and related activities.
• Co-ordinate with O&M, technical/engineering resources/contractors/authorities for execution of the project.
• Assist in development, scoping, and establishing project budget, schedule, and control measures.
• Review feasibility studies and cost estimates on proposed investments.
• Provide any other support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical or any relevant engineering discipline.
• No experience required for entry-level position.
• Must have a high level of integrity, able to generate trust and build alliances with co-workers.
• Able to communicate effectively & diversely for prompt resolution to site matters.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and be willing to work overtime/weekends.
• Ability to foresee and resolve issues before surfacing would be an added advantage.
• Familiar with Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement, and Permit to Work application requirements and procedures.
• Ability to maintain good project documentation and is familiar with ISO documentation requirements.

PREFERRED SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS

• Self-starter with the ability to self-manage.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Not afraid of heights, medically fit, and able to climb vertical ladders.
• Safety certifications such as Working at Height, Construction Safety Orientation Course, etc. preferred.
