Project Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Operations Manager in project planning, co-ordinate, execute and monitor all works on site.
2. Study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
3. Perform site inspection and ensure that the work is carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing / final approved drawing from authorities.
4. Lead a team of supervisors for works coordination with main/sub-contractors and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues.
5. Plan and deploy resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material.
6. Prepare progress reports, Method Statements and technical submissions.
7. Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accidents in the workplace.
8. Plan daily project activities and monitor progress to ensure the activities meet project specifications, project schedule and comply with regulations.
9. Undertake design and construction issues concerning all works, provide engineering inputs, resolve technical problems and ensure quality of projects.
10. Co-ordinate with Procurement on delivery items and schedule.
11. Ensure all project documentation (method statements, work progress reports, daily reports, QA/QC reports, etc.) are submitted in a timely manner.
12. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in Building Façade Inspection and Repair Work.
3. Familiarity with Façade Systems.
4. Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
5. The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
6. Excellent project management and supervision skills.
7. Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
