Project Engineer

Job Description

1. Planning and Preparation: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to plan installation activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and site preparation.
2. Equipment Inspection: Inspect equipment or systems prior to installation to ensure they meet specifications and are in proper working condition.
3. Site Assessment: Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate installation requirements, including space constraints, access points, and safety considerations.
4. Installation Supervision: Lead installation teams, providing guidance and direction to technicians, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe installation processes.
5. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure installations meet company standards and customer requirements, conducting inspections and audits throughout the installation process.
6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards during installation activities, promoting a culture of safety among installation teams.
7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including documentation of materials used, work performed, and any deviations from the original plan. Prepare reports for project managers and clients as required.
8. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering installations that meet or exceed expectations, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
9. Update As-Built drawing in CAD file.

The Requirements:

1. Candidates with Railway experience will be preferred.
2. 1 year experience in installation of electrical and communication infrastructures will be preferred.
3. Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent, preferred.
4. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Willing to work outside of prime office hours as required.
5. Self-motivated and service-oriented.
6. Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
7. CAD drafting / BIM Modelling experience will be preferred.
