Overseeing, managing, monitoring, controlling, and reporting site activities of subcontractors and coordinating on-site level with other partners’ subcontractors.
Conduct construction, QAQC inspection/testing for the area of responsibility.
Attending all relevant WSH activities such as safety site walk, TBM, audit, safety stand down, etc.
Interacting with project technical supports for relevant site work and liaising with other engineers during project execution and commissioning work.
Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders related to assigned construction activities responsibility.
Managing equipment package (when needed) and ensuring technical compliance from suppliers and vendors.
Coordinating on-site logistics, interfacing with cranes and machinery.
Preparing technical submissions of proposals (when needed) including drawings, layout, and interacting point requirement.
Independently chairing/leads the subcontractor meeting and attending any stakeholders, client, partners, authorities meeting whenever required.
Any other instruction or direction by management.
Job Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Fresh graduate or minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in design or construction.
Familiarity with process engineering, mechanical systems, and their standards in related disciplines is an advantage.
Related working experience in thermal power plants, process industries, and mechanical handling equipment is an advantage.
Having the correct working attitude and will be full-time working on-site.
Experience in BIM and hands-on AutoCAD operation will be preferred.
Knowledge in engineering, planning, and design software will be an advantage.
Willingness to work in Tuas.
Will be required to work on shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays with leave in-lieu arrangement.
Possession of a Singapore Driving License is required. Else, willing to convert the current license to Singapore Driving License.
