Connect Energy partners with a Marine Engineering company to look for a PROJECT ENGINEER to be based in their Singapore office.
This position is to assist the technical team in managing document control for the MOPUs (Production Rigs), FSOs, Flag and Class Certifications, and Insurance Certificates. This role will also assist in preparing technical requirements, liaising with contractors and suppliers, reviewing invoices and purchase orders, and requests.
Major Responsibilities
Manage Document Control System
Support technical and engineering personnel with project support duties.
Compile technical reports
Provide input to technical reports and project planning
Produce accurate statistics and relevant figures
Undertake data analysis, identify and investigate variations
Prepare technical drawings, datasheets, and documents under the direction of the Technical Lead
Develop and maintain technical databases and spreadsheets
Source technical documents, information, and drawings.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering
3 - 5 years of relevant experience in an engineering and project management role in the marine industry focusing on FSO/MOPU or equivalent.
Excellent skills in MS applications
Advanced use of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project
