Job description

Job Duties & Responsibility:

  1. Oversee end-to-end project management from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  2. Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring seamless coordination.
  3. Chair meetings with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any design/budget/technical issues that might derail the project delivery, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  4. Direct all site activities of site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, managing communication between different groups to ensure timely response to project requirements.
  5. Develop and implement project strategies, mitigating risks and resolving site challenges.
  6. Draw up corrective measures when the building works are off schedule.
  7. Coordinate building inspections by relevant authorities.
  8. Ensure strict compliance with BCA regulations, workplace safety, and contract requirements.
  9. Manage and deliver projects within project timeline and budget, considering risk and environmental factors.
  10. Conduct site inspections regularly to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  11. Monitor project cost control, procurement, and financial performance.
  12. Manage work delivery and resources based on resource allocation and project schedules.
  13. Manage construction project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
  14. Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including milestones and any significant developments or risks.
  15. Ensure that as-built drawings are prepared on an ongoing basis by all trades during the construction period and issue final close-outs to Consultant/Client accordingly.
  16. Review construction progress and address the needs of the stakeholders at various stages of the project.
  17. Develop an alternate plan for completing a job if needed.
  18. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including clients, authorities, and internal teams.
  19. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction processes.
  20. Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships; expand project opportunities.
  21. Develop and maintain a network with consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
  22. Prepare proposals, tenders, and quotations based on project requirements and monitor project execution to optimize profitability and maximize customer satisfaction.
  23. Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and keep abreast of the latest market developments.
  24. Able to market company portfolio to potential clients.
  25. Strong ability to identify and secure projects to support company growth.
  26. Strong project management experience in the construction industry, including handling the full project lifecycle.
  27. Willing to travel to various job sites and allocate workers as needed.
