What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement creative plans that help us hit our goals and keep everything aligned. Oversee daily operations in the events department to ensure smooth sailing for all our events
• Review and enhance our processes quarterly to boost efficiency, cut costs, and elevate event quality. Bring your best practices in event management, logistics and resource handling!
• Leverage the latest tech and innovation solutions to streamline operations and minimise risks
• Oversee the planning and execution of all events, making sure they're on time, within budget, and meet our high standards
• Work closely with the general manager, project managers and business development manager to align all event aspects with clients' and organisation goals
• Approve and monitor event-related spending and keep our financial records on point. Discover ways to save money without compromising on quality.
• Guide and support the project team, providing direction and developing training programs every six months to level up their skills
• Conduct quarterly reviews of team performance and give helpful feedback to keep everyone on track
• Advise project managers to ensure client needs and expectations are met for every event.
• Keep the senior management in the loop about operational performance, including event results, budget status, and any challenges every quarter. Join all post-event meetings with project managers to share insights

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years of experience in event management in a fast-paced environment
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team
• Strong project management skills and experience in managing budgets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping your cool and creativity flowing
• Proactive and adaptable, with a knack for problem-solving
