Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Architect to join our real estate development team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving our projects forward by conducting feasibility studies, overseeing property improvement works, managing submissions to authorities, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance and maintain our property portfolio. This position requires a strong background in architectural design, project coordination, and property management.
Key Responsibilities:
Development Feasibility Studies:
Conduct feasibility studies for potential real estate development projects, including design concepts, cost estimation, and project timelines.
Analyze zoning regulations, land use, and environmental considerations to ensure project viability.
Property Improvement Works:
Oversee renovation and interior design (ID) projects for existing properties.
Collaborate with contractors and designers to deliver high-quality results within budget and timelines.
Regulatory Submissions and Approvals:
Assist in preparing and submitting necessary applications to relevant authorities.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
Common Area Improvements:
Collaborate with Management Corporations Strata Title (MCST) teams (e.g., Lloyd and Oliv) to plan and execute upgrades to common areas.
Identify and implement enhancements that align with tenant and owner needs.
Taringa Central Coordination:
Coordinate common area improvement works for Taringa Central in Brisbane, Australia.
Liaise with local contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Defects Resolution:
Inspect and address defects in existing properties to maintain quality standards.
Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for effective resolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Licensed Architect with a valid practicing certificate (local or international).
Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate development or architectural project management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural design software.
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and submission processes.
Experience with renovation, interior design, and property improvement projects.
Excellent project management and coordination skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders, contractors, and teams.
