Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Provide sales and administrative support for assigned events.

  2. Events management and operations including pre-event preparation, on-site execution, and post-event closing.

  3. Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.

  4. Handle client enquiries and requests.

  5. Ensure the projects are implemented according to client’s expectations.

  6. Liaise with clients on project requirements and design concepts for events or exhibitions.

  7. Generate ideas and concepts with team members.

  8. Liaise with in-house and client’s designers on 2D/3D visual design proposals, submission, and approval.

  9. Prepare proposals and quotations, generate budgets, and conduct cost analysis upon completion of projects.

  10. Conduct site inspections and surveys.

  11. Coordinate with event venue operators on set-up and logistic arrangements.

  12. Events logistics planning with internal & external team members for setup and teardown.

  13. Manage timeline, production, and setup schedules.

  14. Coordinate with external vendors for audio, video, and lighting setup.

  15. Submission of risk assessments and permits and ensure safety requirements at event venues.

  16. Administrative duties and manage other matters as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Degree/Diploma in events management or equivalent.

  2. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the MICE/Event Management industry.

  3. Good business acumen skills with the ability to execute budget and costing analysis in developing appropriate pricing strategies to identify opportunities and evaluate potential outcomes.

  4. Attention to detail.

  5. Possess technical knowledge in conceptual design drawing, floor plans, furniture, materials, and finishing will be an added advantage.

  6. Able to read construction drawings and visualize 2D/3D design presentations.

  7. Good team player.

  8. Outgoing personality.

  9. Dynamic, resourceful, and ambitious.

  10. Love to interact with clients and vendors.

  11. Strong work ethic, responsible, meticulous.

  12. Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.

  13. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
