Job Description
Decarbonisation Programme Office (PO) - CREATE is launching a global challenge on the theme of Decarbonization. The Programme Office (PO) hosted at NUS is responsible for post-award management of the Decarbonisation Programme, overseeing various aspects including finances, operations, research, and stakeholder engagement.

Role as a Programme Manager in the PO

  1. To support the overall management of the Decarbonisation Programme and ensure the programme adheres to best practices and timelines as outlined in the Letter-of-Award.
  2. Monitor research progress, budgets and cashflows for projects and workstreams in collaboration with CREATE entities with support from the NRF grants team.
  3. Foster intramural collaborations and create synergies between different projects to enhance research outcomes.
  4. Support the outreach events and meetings (e.g., SC and SAC meetings).
  5. Support the engagement of stakeholders within the Research, Innovation, and Enterprise (RIE) ecosystem, including industry players, to ensure coordination and alignment.

Qualifications

  1. Tertiary education in science and/or engineering or adjacent disciplines; advanced degrees and working experience in a research-based environment engaging with different stakeholders would be preferred.
  2. Strong interest in cutting edge science, and with a broad sense of perspective. The candidate should also possess strong analytical abilities and organizational skills, with experience in programme management.
  3. The candidate should be independent, meticulous, resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Knowledge of safety: Familiarity with safety management systems in laboratory and pilot-scale test bed is required.
  5. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written) with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individual and professional groups.
