Job description

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description:

  • Programme Management and Execution
    • Price Competitiveness
      • Monitor daily price competitiveness of top SKUs across Shopee and key competitors (Lazada, TikTok, Amazon, Taobao)
      • Report price check results to relevant stakeholders, identify lagging segments for CMs/RMs to focus on with actionable recommendations for both BAU and Spike Days
      • Collect and evaluate feedback from RMs/CMs, including seller insights, competitor intelligence, inaccurate SKU matches, and SKU exclusion requests
      • Ensure smooth execution by MY Ops of daily promotion settings, CMT session creation, reverse nominations, and troubleshooting any arising issues
      • Manage end-to-end process to reach unmanaged sellers, including disseminating seller communications (i.e. PNs, SEH articles), identifying potential SKUs to target, and tracking reverse nomination responses
    • SKU Bidding
      • Oversee the monthly SKU bidding initiative, from planning to execution
      • Monitor key metrics such as SPU coverage, bidding participation, bidding coverage, and winning coverage, with the aim to improve overall bidding penetration
      • Prepare post-bidding reports and manage follow-through on rewards for bid winners
      • Coordinate MY Ops SPU grouping validation tasks each month
  • Data Analysis and Process Optimization
    • Support the team in data analysis, generating category/seller-level insights, and formulating actionable next steps to meet initiative targets
    • Review and streamline existing process for MY Ops and RMs regarding promotion settings and promotion nomination tasks
  • Target Setting and KPI Monitoring
    • Set monthly targets at category and RM levels, coordinating with relevant teams on target setting and ingestion
    • Develop and maintain dashboards or trackers to monitor KPIs and support business needs
  • Additional Ad-hoc Scope
    • Collaborate with BPM and other stakeholders on product feature improvement for CMT, Promotion Admin Portal, and other relevant portals
    • Gather competitor intelligence data to support team objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; experience in the e-Commerce industry is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to execute tasks independently
  • Proven track record in program management and effective cross-functional collaboration, with excellent stakeholder management capabilities
  • Creative problem-solver with strong analytical thinking and sound judgment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in working with numbers and skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Data Studio and SQL is a plus, though not a requirement
