Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment.
We are looking for a Programme Director to lead an ERI@N Interdisciplinary Research Programme focusing on Multi Energy Systems which will enable future digital grids, microgrids and interconnection of these systems to other energy sources including the future hydrogen economy, large scale renewables including renewable imports, thermal energy storage and solutions like waste heat recovery. The programme includes all aspects including digitalization and controls, energy trading, simulation, digital twins and living labs supporting physical demonstrators at scale.
