About Us: Muslimin Trust Fund Association (MTFA) is a rapidly growing nonprofit organisation dedicated to serving the underprivileged community in Singapore. Established with the aim of providing financial assistance and support to Muslims in need, MTFA focuses on various areas such as education, healthcare, welfare, and social services. As our organisation continues to expand, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

Programme Management:

  • Liaise with external organizers/member of public for residents’ events/activities.
  • Plan and organize events/activities for residents during school holiday periods and weekends.
  • Update events listing every week.
  • In-charge of RAMS & AAR for required activities.
  • Prepare monthly & quarterly reports on list of events for MTFA Council meetings & MSF submission.
  • Coordinate in-house and outdoor events/activities.
  • Oversee the coordination of both DIO happenings; they are to be consulted with regards to slotting/changing new plans.
  • Work alongside with WO & CWs on scheduling intervention programmes i.e. groupwork/bespoken therapeutic sessions etc.
  • Work with education unit on programmes.
  • Responsible for sourcing intervention programmes/support services for both children and families.
  • Identify existing resources (FSCs, SSA services, assistance programmes, social welfare initiatives, etc.) and upload info to a shared folder for HGs to access.

Community Development:

  • Develop and execute the volunteer management system in line with MTFA’s vision and mission.
  • Project requirements for volunteers and develop the volunteer recruitment and retention strategy.
  • Evaluate, enhance and implement volunteer management policies and processes (e.g. volunteer training, development, recognition, engagement).
  • Develop risk mitigation measures and a volunteer continuity plan.
  • Conduct volunteer data analysis.
  • Develop collaborations with community stakeholders and corporate partners for volunteering opportunities.
  • Identify emerging approaches in volunteer management and evaluate volunteerism trends and impact which will add value to the volunteer engagement strategies and approaches.
  • Establish a reliable pool of long-term volunteers to support MTFA in its various programmes, initiatives, and events.

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in any field with 2-3 years of relevant experience in programme management, volunteer management, and event management, preferably in a charitable/non-profit organisation.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills (both written & spoken).
  • Good organizational & event/programme management skills.
  • Resilient and able to work both independently and with the management team.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and able to multitask under given deadlines/timelines.
  • Able to build & maintain work relationships with existing and new stakeholders/partners.
  • Able to work on weekends on certain occasions during programmes or events (off-in-lieu will be given accordingly).
