The Ownership Operations team helps enable customers to receive an extraordinary experience each time they engage with Apple while optimizing sales performance. The scope of responsibilities of the team includes ownership and backstage initiatives, commercial performance, small/medium business operations, store operations field leadership, and readiness for campaigns and new product introductions.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about driving strong business results through effective customer and employee engagement strategies. This role works with Global Retail Support partners to design and launch programs that support Apple Retail priorities and initiatives. Critical skills include collaboration, critical thinking, and the ability to design and implement programs that enhance the in-store shopping experience, through the filters of Team, Customer, and Apple.

Description

As a Program Manager within the Ownership Operations Team, you are responsible for identifying, creating, leading, and implementing effective programs that solve highly complex, often technical problems related to product ownership within Apple Retail Stores. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a larger, global cross-functional team.

  1. Create and implement strategic initiatives that align with Apple Retail priorities to deliver results through creating owners, maximizing efficiencies, and improving processes.
  2. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to effectively interact and influence all levels within the organization.
  3. Implement key strategies with a specific focus on driving product ownership and class-leading customer experiences.
  4. Initiate, drive, and deliver effective projects within a global cross-functional team.
  5. Identify roadblocks and potential impacts before they emerge; call out issues through the appropriate channels to gain resolution quickly.
  6. Develop and maintain key partnerships with senior field leadership including sharing key projects and initiatives by visiting Apple Retail Stores, hosting forums, conducting calls, and creating a feedback and communication channel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience or equivalent, preferably in a pan-Geo capacity.

  • Outstanding influencer who is great at connecting the dots and able to lead and influence global, cross-functional teams. Able to mobilize, inspire, and lead teams without direct authority and manage conflicting partner interests effectively.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to comfortably dive into any area of the business, develop a deep understanding, and shape execution plans.
  • Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, managing ambiguity through strong priority setting skills and transparency.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, develop strategies, and implement solutions through strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make a difference.
  • An excellent, positive partner with the agility to step up when needed and help the team deliver against challenging deadlines, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization (from specialists to senior leaders).
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
