Job description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Programme Manager to oversee the talent development programme, including recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and stakeholder engagement. This role is responsible for implementing and managing the relevant talent development initiatives, learning strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Oversee the end-to-end management of the talent development programme, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development of trainees.
  2. Develop and execute structured learning roadmaps and training plans tailored to the trainees’ development needs.
  3. Monitor and track trainees' progress including work ethics, conduct, performance, learning and development milestones.
  4. Facilitate effective engagement, ensuring smooth coordination between trainees, mentors, and key stakeholders.
  5. Schedule training sessions, communicate details, and conduct post-training evaluations to measure effectiveness.
  6. Act as the main point of contact for the trainees, providing support, guidance, and addressing any concerns throughout their tenure.
  7. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify learning and development opportunities for the trainees.
  8. Coordinate networking sessions, career talks, and industry exposure programmes to enhance trainees’ experience and career readiness.
  9. Maintain proper documentation of training records and progress reports, and provide improvement recommendations to enhance the programme’s effectiveness.
  10. Orientate and guide trainees on the country and company, and organize engagement activities to foster a sense of belonging and ensure a positive learning experience for trainees.
  11. Continuously assess and refine the talent development programme based on internal feedback and industry best practices.
  12. Plan and organize a graduation ceremony as part of the offboarding process, ensuring a well-structured and meaningful event that recognizes their achievements.
  13. Establish an alumni network to stay connected with graduation and track their progress and updates post-graduation.
  14. Manage trainees’ welfare, including arranging suitable accommodations and addressing well-being concerns to ensure a positive experience throughout the program.
  15. Maintain strong relationships with government agencies, secure necessary approvals (where required) for the program, provide regular updates on its effectiveness and ensure compliance with the requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, HR or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of training frameworks, competency development, and talent management.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and public affairs.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary shall be commensurate with relevant work experience.
