This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with PCB assembly and troubleshooting. Candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively to support production and engineering activities effectively.
Requirements:
Knowledge of soldering is a must, along with experience in assembly and rework of PCBAs containing through-hole and SMT components.
Proficiency in hand soldering, particularly with 0402 and QFP components.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair PCBAs.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Communicate and interact with production operators and engineering teams.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide technical support in troubleshooting, productivity improvement, and failure analysis to identify causes.
Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of jigs/fixtures, testers at production.
Troubleshoot product failures at production and customer returns (RMA).
Assist the operators with rework that may be required in production.
Perform troubleshooting work at the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) level.
Possess knowledge of soldering skills required for hand soldering 0402 and QFP components for PCB rework.
Perform assembly and rework of PCBAs with through-hole and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components.
Support engineering for prototypes, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
