Job Responsibilities:

1. Use mathematical knowledge and precision tools (e.g., micrometers, vernier callipers) to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
2. Machine parts according to specifications using tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and shapers.
3. Set up CNC machines, including loading tools, fixtures, and workpieces to ensure accurate machining.
4. Monitor machine performance, adjusting settings as needed to maintain precision and meet quality standards.
5. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions by observing machine operation, making adjustments, or initiating repairs as necessary.
6. Ensure proper lubrication and cooling of workpieces during the machining process.
7. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize production workflows, reduce cycle times, and improve overall machining efficiency.
8. Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations and company quality standards.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of ITE/NITEC in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2. Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. Familiarity with various CNC machines and a strong understanding of CNC machining processes and operations (e.g., CNC lathes, milling machines, etc.).
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
7. Ability to work rotating shifts.
