Production Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Carry out all operation work related to start-up, shutdown and running of the plant in a safe, efficient and cost-conscious manner.
2. Perform laboratory analytical tests.
3. Carry out all work related to drumming operation.
4. Operate isotank loading and discharge operations.
5. Maintain and enforce safety regulations and safe working practices as well as a high standard of housekeeping.
6. Provide technical support on plant processes and systems, identifying issues threatening plant safety and efficiency.
7. Perform improvement of processes through work study, value engineering, industrial engineering techniques, and automation.
8. Assist Plant Manager to implement plant maintenance programs to achieve uptime targets in a cost-effective manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Polytechnic or ITE graduates, preferably with a chemical engineering background.
• All new entrants/fresh graduates are welcome. Having 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a related field will be an added advantage.
• Singaporean citizens or holders of relevant residence status.
• Willing to work in Jurong Island.
• Able to do shift work.
• High awareness of job safety and housekeeping.
