Responsibilities

• Prepare Work Orders and execute smooth production planning, scheduling, and timely fulfillment of work orders.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust them as needed to meet customer demand.
• Implement process improvement plans and meet or exceed operations objectives set up by the company.
• Analyze production cycle time and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and maintain safe work procedures (SWP) for production processes & regular maintenance processes.
• Streamline workflow and eliminate waste.
• Manage and lead small work groups.
• Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requisitions for production supplies and materials needed for production.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensure 5S and perform routine machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC/ Higher NITEC/ GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; Diploma holder preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of manufacturing supervision experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Possess good communication skills and able to work with all levels in the organization.
• Strong hands-on and maintenance background, possess problem-solving and strong leadership skills.
• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new skills.
