Production Supervisor (CNC/Equipment Assembly/Team Management) LT46

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the CNC machine assembly process.
2. Ensure assembly processes are carried out according to defined quality standards, engineering specifications and production schedules.
3. Lead, train and supervise a team of assembly technicians to ensure efficient and safe operation.
4. Identify and address issues in the assembly process, including mechanical failures, assembly errors, and delays.
5. Monitor employee performance, provide constructive feedback and manage any personnel issues in a timely and effective manner.
6. Implement and enforce quality control processes to detect and correct any defects or assembly errors.
7. Ensure the correct handling and storage of components and assembled machines to prevent damage or degradation.
8. Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
9. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including employee attendance, machine downtime, material usage and completed work.
10. Work with the Production Manager to address any delays or production-related concerns and adjust schedules as needed.
11. Attend daily production meetings, provide updates on machine issues, and ensure all relevant information is recorded and updated in the Gantt chart.
12. Review daily checklists and manufacturing records submitted by technicians, verifying accuracy against MOS specifications and machine tolerances.
13. Initiate purchase requisitions for section consumables, tools, and calibration equipment as required.
14. Organize and oversee On-the-Job Training (OJT) for new technicians, as well as cross-training initiatives to enhance team competency, ensuring training records are properly maintained.
15. Monitor weekly quality findings, conduct investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address issues.
16. Maintain and continuously improve 5S and housekeeping standards in the production area, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Engineering field is preferred
2. Relevant experience in CNC assembly processes or quality control are advantageous
3. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supervisory role in a manufacturing or assembly environment
4. Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
5. Hands-on experience with CNC machine assembly, troubleshooting and mechanical assembly techniques
6. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawing, blueprints and assembly instructions
7. Strong understanding of 5S and HSE knowledge
8. Maintain good Quality standards, 5S and safety discipline
