Production Operator (3 Shifts) / Boon Lay / 5 Vacancies

Responsibilities:

• Ensure good 5S housekeeping, productivity, quality and safety in production workplace.
• Ensure raw material is used correctly, with weighing records attached and labeled correctly.
• Operate extruder according to standard operating start-up and shut-down procedures.
• Perform changeover cleaning for every grade change to ensure no contamination.
• Ensure extruder is in good condition and clean before starting production.
• Check pellet appearances to ensure no defects.
• Record process parameters for every batch or hourly production.
• Monthly 5S reporting (before and after solutions) and submit near miss reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level.
• At least 1 year of similar working experience as an operator/production assistant in the manufacturing industry.
• Able to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.

Other Information:

• Working 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) with the ability to work 3 rotating shifts (Morning: 6.30am-3.15pm; Afternoon: 2.50pm-11.15pm; Night: 10.50pm-7.15am).
• 5 vacancies available - permanent role.
