Job Description & Requirements

Principal Accountabilities

Safety

• Perform work in accordance with safety requirements at all times.
• Ensure all safety guards are in place before operating equipment.

Operational

• Operate equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Perform setup and configuration of equipment to work on film and paper product reels.
• Perform proper recording of product information before and after processing.
• Perform visual inspection of product to detect defects as identified by SOP and WIs.
• Perform re-work of product as instructed by leadership.
• Perform proper hand-over take-over to/from shift co-workers.
• Perform proper sample taking/marking/recording of samples at specific intervals per SOP and WIs.
• Perform proper product packaging per SOP and WIs.
• Print core labels/pallet labels and ensure proper labeling of reels as per Work Instructions (WIs).
• Perform equipment maintenance as per Work Instructions (WIs).
• Notify leadership/QA Engineer if any additional defects are found.
• Ensure general 5S housekeeping of work area/machine cleaning.
• Move and feed production material per Work Instructions (WIs).

Others

• Help out in other areas of production such as Finished Goods Packing and retrieving of materials from the warehouse as needed.
• Other ad hoc assignments.
