Be responsible to maintain key relationships and clear communication to provide strategic direction with all teams belonging to the Pre-production Dept. (Cutting/HT/SM), ensuring the WIP is provided promptly with high accuracy to meet the production schedule.
Prepare all master plans for the pre-production department based on the production plan and order summary received from the Planning Dept. and Singapore.
Responsible for the availability of all markers/patterns used for all preparations within the Pre-production Dept. Communicate with the PIC immediately if any problems related to marker preparation pose a potential risk to production.
Lead teams to identify material assumptions correctly and provide them to interested parties if any requirements arise.
Responsible for arranging the team and ensuring the WIP is delivered to the next process owner timely as per the production plan without any quality issues.
Inform the status of WIP for each active PO within the pre-production area to every PIC/interested party for tracking and preparing their processes accordingly.
Understand each sub-process in the pre-production process and prepare training if necessary for PIC to ensure proper understanding.
Lead the team and cooperate with related departments to resolve any quality issues in every pre-production process, supervising corrections until the issues are completely resolved.
Ensure awareness and proper practice among all pre-production team members (CUT/Heat transfer/Super Market) to comply with all buyer standards regarding quality/safety/compliance, especially regarding PPE usage, chemical control, metal contamination control, and white glove usage (in the case of light-colored fabric).
Ensure the availability of all documentation following each process that can be used to trace material/WIP/cut parts and ensure the accuracy of provided information.
Requirements:
Have experience in the position applying for in the garment industry for 3 years or more.
