Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the assigned kitchens, have extensive experience in food production, particularly in thecatering sector, and a proven track record of successfully leading production teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines.
  • Supervise and lead the production team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, workflows, and processes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor production metrics and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including but not limited to purchasing, food safety, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage production budgets, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the production team.
  • Oversee the maintenance of production equipment and ensure all machinery is in proper working order.
  • Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
  • Set productivity goals for each manufacturing team.
  • Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to meet safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain records of production data and report on productivity and efficiency.
  • Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in F&B Management/Operations, Culinary Arts or equivalent
  • Knowledge of ISO22000 or HACCP would be an advantage
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in food production setting
  • Resourceful and innovative
  • Able to work 6 days work week and on PH/CNY
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with an eye for detail
